re: a DT subdomain... I'd never really thought about it. I'm not opposed to the idea, but there'd be a few technical issues to deal with. I'm open to the conversation.

I was kindly provided with a set of color chips (both ABS & PBT) by some folks on GeekHack, and set about scanning them with a ColorMunki spectrophotometer that I borrowed from work... the result is lots of RAW data, and what should be reasonably accurate sRGB ...

Order #0405 arrived safely. (Only 108 greys... missing 2... but don't sweat it... I only *needed* 108, and the extra two were just a buffer in case of a defective switch or something.)

In terms of legend size, though, vintage doubleshots were at least a 7 if not 8 in your scheme, but you have an arbitrary limit of 5 for some reason.

One minor issue I found: After adding a color ":" to any bottom label, the raw data tab has a problem with it and does not accept any manual updates until it is removed.

I've updated the editor again, to v0.7 (yay for holiday weekends!). Here are the highlights:

@Daniel Beardsmore: What do you think of this encoding? This is the CCnG preset, removing redundant data, using URL-friendly characters where possible, and "hand-compressed" to some eliminate duplication. Weighs in at 706 bytes. Line-breaks inserted for legibility.

Isn't the MOQ set at 4000? That's a lot of MXLOCKs to move. (I'd be in for maybe 40 of them, but you'd need a lot more buyers at those sorts of quantity levels.)

In Firefox and IE, clicking Permalink just opens a new tab to the same keyboard, but with spacebar now labelled "null", and no fragment identifier (#…). Is that what it's meant to do? Obviously the "null" is a bug with the way keys with no caption are handled.

-- Switched to URLON-encoding for the permalinks... since it mostly uses URL-safe characters, it results in significantly shorter URLs.

Sometimes the bot's e-mails are treated as spam ...

I check my spam-folder and empty it daily, and have seen nothing from the bot (on either my first order two weeks ago, or the one from Friday).

Maybe they're getting lost in transit (email relays and such), though I've had no confirmed cases ...

Just submitted an order (for some MXGREY/NW's)... I hope I got the format correct. There's a bunch of information in the first couple of pages of this thread that talk about specifying a payment method and an address, and I found myself thoroughly confused.

OK, the selection problem turned out to be pretty straightforward.

I've now tested basic functionality in IE 10 and FF 24. (I do all my development on Chrome 29.)

Clicking keys selects the wrong key (e.g. one that is two rows up, in IE) or no key at all (Firefox), making some or all the keys impossible to select or edit.

Bah! Stupid browsers doing things differently. Looks like this is all related to the coordinates returned when mouse clicking. Works fine ...
