Indeed, it is a rebranded Cherry keyboard. Doubleshot keycaps, vintage black switches, I also like that layout.

A friend found this keyboard new in box, and is looking for more info on it. I suspect it's just a re-brand of a Cherry product.

Yeah I use French Canadian keyboards all the time. They fucking suck.

The G5/mx518 shell has a very nice construction, very strong imo. The Xai shell has an extremely similar construction to them as well. However the G5 mouse wheel is very flimsy, and will probably break after a period of time. I've not seen how mx518's are. Aside from that is the micro switches ...

Both equality terrible in my book. I would not buy a keyboard if it had either. Though if I had to use either, I think I'd be able to deal with the backspace better.
