I think I am going to order from signature plastics a 1.25ux2ux1ux1u as I know that would fit on the bottom (third row of my tipro) as there is only room for a 1 unit space there. I am not sure if 0.75 would look good at all. I ...

that's a lot simpler than desoldering /cutting and filing the plate etc which I think wound be beyond jond's (not that I'm putting him down)
and to be fair I never thought of doing that on my tipro or access boards or for that matter any us layout boards

i've used just oxy clean( well asda own brand) on its own on doubleshots with good results .left in uk sun (yes we do get some) for 3 days

kbdfr don't have a go at jond_keyhack it is confusing when you first start doing this stuff and don't forget you've known this stuff for ages and are now considered the guru of tipro (where not worthy)

Those Commodore caps are sublime! I haven't seen any in an age, but the front printed graphic characters and the pi reminded me of my VIC-20's many mysteries.

Mount adapters are tricky. Right now, all the action is in Topre switch => MX caps. Alps definitely deserves a shot, but you have to add a ...

I just don't understand why you are asking what the Tipro ChangeMe software can or cannot do.
You can download it free of charge if you haven't yet, and find out by yourself.

And of course you can chain Tipro keyboards, several of them if needed.
You can even mount them together to have them ...

don't know if this is any help but I got a access pos board and converted it to a standard layout

most if not all the tipro and access is pos boards i've got are plate mounted you could try changing the springs and or the stems on pcb mounted keyboards to maybe get a better feel
