I would guess something bad like KT vintage foam and foil or if you're lucky maybe some kind of hall effect or something.
Nothing exciting, it seems...zrrion wrote: 12 Mar 2020, 18:34 Its very pretty nonetheless, if you are able to pop a cap to get a picture of the switch that would help with identification.
I agree! Curiosity was the main driver in taking this one home from the recycling centre.zrrion wrote: 12 Mar 2020, 23:47 Personally, anything new to me is exciting. hopefully someone knows something about it.

I'd guess the small keys are Alps compacts or domes.
Keytronic Tactile Foam and Foil

Hi placa, do you know where I can buy those plastic dust covers I see on the pic?
That is obviously from another keyboard, it has Windows key cutouts and is not configured for the bigass Enter.dcopellino wrote: 25 Mar 2020, 13:29

This button is connected to the long weird feet under the keyboard. On my keyboard one of the feet wiggles, when I press it. Either something is stuck or I don't press hard enough. I'll find out, when I have the time to open and clean it.mrmola wrote: 25 Mar 2020, 06:28
What is the weird little button on the back? Some pictures have it up and some have it down. Any idea what it is for?
Hello. I really don't know, you may ask to someone in the vacuum forming hobby:dcopellino wrote: 25 Mar 2020, 13:29Hi placa, do you know where I can buy those plastic dust covers I see on the pic?

An ingenious mechanism to lower the feet without turning over the keyboard?! Wow...AJM wrote: 25 Mar 2020, 20:33 This button is connected to the long weird feet under the keyboard. Hi, this in my head is a sort of more 80s/90s product If I could say that...dcopellino wrote: 25 Mar 2020, 13:29Hi placa, do you know where I can buy those plastic dust covers I see on the pic?
It's almost certainly a keytronic foam and foil board based off of the keycaps and the hint of a switch you can see in there.inmbolmie wrote: 28 Mar 2020, 18:48 Doomsday terminals from an abandoned NATO command and control bunker in Italy.

Spoiler:
Googled for the displayed make and model (Delta 7260TC) but found nothing about it.

I had one of those back in the early '90s. Sorry, I don't remember who made it or what's inside, but I can tell you it's not Alps or clicky. I would guess slider and membrane or foam and foil based on how it felt. Like you I really wanted it to be something nice.PlacaFromHell wrote: 28 Mar 2020, 22:01 I would like to bump this thing, is intriguing me so bad with that Focus looking mini LED cluster. The guy who owns it say it's labeled with "MDL - CKB 101-102 S/N 713326" but I can't find anything.
